It is my privilege and absolute joy to present to you my “pandemic baby”. My debut novel Andújar: The Robot Gentleman of San Juan is now available on Amazon. While my career as a travel and lifestyle journalist continues to fill me with pride and satisfaction, this work of fiction merges my greatest passions: era romances, steampunk fiction and my academic love of Latin American Modernismo.

Oh, and also large humanoid robots.

This sweeping and uncanny love story unfolds as Puerto Rico and the Caribbean grapple with the boundless possibilities of the late Industrial Revolution’s marvelous inventions and the darker implications of the looming Spanish American War.
